Tech Bridge helps recent high school graduates build skills, confidence, and momentum in the tech industry. This program addresses a critical gap in workforce development by serving the growing number of students who don’t immediately enroll in college.

Through career readiness, credentialing, and coaching, Tech Foundry equips young adults for immediate employment and long-term economic mobility.

With Tech Bridge, students gain the skills, credentials, and confidence to secure meaningful employment and pursue higher education. The program combines technical training, hands-on learning, community building, and industry certifications, creating a direct bridge to in-demand careers and college pathways.

What the Tech Bridge Program Includes

Duration

9-month program beginning late summer 2026, including spring and summer orientation activities.

Eligibility

High school graduates (or equivalent) in good standing who live in the Greater Springfield area, including Springfield, Holyoke, and Chicopee.

Training

Comprehensive IT and STEM preparation that includes:

  • Tech sector coursework and college credits leading to a great job, college enrollment—or both

  • Work experience with local businesses and community organizations

  • Industry-recognized credentials that validate your skills

Student Support

Ongoing coaching, professional development, career exploration, job placement assistance, and community-building activities.

Post-Program Support

Six months of follow-up coaching and engagement to ensure successful transitions into the workforce or higher education—or both.

Cost

The program is a full scholarship opportunity for accepted students. All classes, activities, and supplies are completely free.
