New Stipend & Bonus Program Begins January 2026

If you’re a Tech Launch IT Workforce program student or alum (cohorts 2023-2029) and remain in good standing, you can earn stipends and bonuses to support your training, job search and early career milestones.

Career + Survey Bonuses

  • CompTIA certification: $50

  • Job start: $75

  • 3-month retention: $100

  • 6-month retention: $50

  • 2-year retention: $50

  • Promotion/raise notification: $50

  • Surveys answered at 6 months, 1 year & 2 years post-graduation: $100 each

Stipend Program

Pre-Graduation Stipends
(Spring 2026 to Spring 2029 cohorts)

  • $200/month during the Tech Launch training period

Career + Survey Bonuses (2023-2029 cohorts)

  • Bonuses are available for milestones starting in 2026 and range from $50-100/each.

  • All bonus requests and documentation must be submitted by December 1, 2029

The Fine Print

The following outlines who qualifies for stipends and bonuses, and what's required to remain eligible

What is a Student in ”Good Standing”?

  1. Actively participating in all aspects of the program, including job-hunting activities.

  2. All assignments completed timely and completely.

  3. All Coursera work completed.

  4. Following program expectations as outlined in the student handbook, with no active warnings.

  5. Timely responses to Teams and email messages.

What is an Alumni in ”Good Standing”?

  1. Between end of classes and graduation, attend at least 2 Job Trackers job hunting sessions a week. (Unless you’re in internship or already working.)

  2. After graduation, attending at least 2 job tracker meetings per month, unless employed or completing your internship

  3. Consistently apply to 10 jobs weekly.

  4. Updating job application tracker (JAT) daily until employed

  5. Respond to surveys within 7 days. 

  6. Respond to all emails, texts and Teams messages within 72 hours.

  7. Communicate all career milestones within 1 month of achievement, including sending necessary supporting documentation to Tech Foundry.

Bonus Payment

  • Post-graduation stipends are available to those alumni in good standing who graduated starting with the Fall 2025 cohort.

  • Bonuses will be paid via direct deposit within 1 month of request and/or survey completion. If you need assistance with a bank account, please email us at bonus@thetechfoundry.org.

  • All payments over $600 are taxable. W-9 forms will be issued to anyone receiving more than $600 in payments from Tech Foundry in a calendar year.

  • You must complete W-9 paperwork for tax reporting purposes.

  • Bonuses will be paid for milestones achieved between 2026-2029.
