USAP - Powered by Arizona State University: When Academic Infrastructure Meets Workforce Strategy
In February, Keshia met with leadership at Universidad de San Pedro Sula (USAP) — the first private university in San Pedro Sula and now part of a global alliance with Arizona State University. Through its "Powered by ASU" model, USAP offers 16 double-degree programs aligned with U.S. academic standards.
The conversation focused on potential collaboration between USAP and BridgeLab — the workforce initiative inspired in part by Tech Bridge. Articulation agreements, employer pipelines, and how structured partnerships between workforce programs and universities can create seamless advancement pathways for students.
"When academic infrastructure and workforce strategy meet with shared intent, momentum builds quickly."
What stood out was the alignment and speed. There was genuine curiosity about the Tech Bridge model and strong interest in formalizing cooperation.
